Report to the Executive Director Global Design Tom Ford Beauty in the creative development and execution of TOM FORD BEAUTY. This is a position-specifically responsible for the execution of several concurrently running global programs for both fragrance and cosmetics. The scope of the work includes primary and secondary package design for fragrance and cosmetics, instore collateral, web, education support materials, ppt presentations, public relation support materials, presentation materials, marketing support, and other brand related promotional vehicles.
Month of October: 2 days a week

Month of November: 3 days a week
December-March: 5 days a week
The job pays $50.00 per hour.

– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of the primary and secondary packaging, collateral and merchandising needs.
– Communicate effectively the creative objectives of the projects through partnership with various internal departments (marketing, technical packaging, IMD, feasibility, finance, pr etc) for project completion.
– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of product photography.
– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of the retouching of photo work.
– Attend and oversee press runs.
– Prepare, and execute creative materials for Sr. Management, inclusive of the formatting and visual research of images for powerpoint presentations, and all sales meeting room set ups.
– Work closely with ED in liaising with all domestic and international affiliates to carry out approved direction and management for specific creative needs from merchandising, to special event installations.
– Negotiate and manage outside vendors as needed.
– Manage print production and work closely with Creative Ops

– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of printed collateral for PR, Sales Domestic and International Marketing inclusive of sampling, consumer books, direct mail pieces, etc.
Primary and Secondary Packaging:
– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of concepts and designs for primary and secondary packaging for all fragrance brands and cosmetics.
– Work closely with ED and  the technical packaging team to ensure that all needs are being met from aesthetics to timing to maintaining target cost objectives. Review and assess packaging programs for highest production quality.
Master Brand Image Campaigns:
– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of PR packaging and collateral.
– Work closely with ED to carry out approved direction and management of global web requests.

– 5-10 years of working experience in print, packaging and merchandising (BA degree in graphic design preferred. Graduate work in graphic design or fine art helpful.
– Diplomacy and Team Player.
– Highly organized with a great ability to multi-task and prioritize the workload. Must be self-efficient and handle a considerable amount of shadow work.
– Proactive and versatile in problem-solving and problem anticipation.
– Punctual, articulate, hard working and goal oriented.
– Able to meet project deadlines.
– Experience with photoshoots and press runs.
– Proficiency with CS6, and power point presentations required.
– Must have a complete knowledge of Tom Ford
– Luxe industry/fashion and beauty experience is a must.
– Incredible attention to detail.

JOB DESCRIPTION seeks a fulltime freelance photo editor. Primary duties include researching proprietary and stock film for the site’s slideshows, blogs, and special projects; preparing web-optimized (sized, color-corrected, retouched) images for the site; scouting/assigning new talent for original shoots; and shooting digitally, as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with editors to conceptualize new and interesting ways to illustrate content through photography in order to deliver the best imagery for the site. He or she will be able to work within tight time and budget constraints (and be able to prepare budgets, too). He or she will be highly proficient with Photoshop, Bridge, and other relevant software, and have solid knowledge about rights and permissions. Above all, the ideal candidate must be able to hone in on the publication’s visual style, and quickly and efficiently source photos that are on-brand and of the highest caliber. Please note that this is NOT an entry-level position: the ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working in the photo department of a fast-paced web environment, with daily deadlines and serious Photoshop skills.
